How IOM Somalia’s CCCM team is preventing the spread of COVID19

Submitted by admin on

"Preparation is not an option - it is a must" Watch IOM Somalia’s CCCM staff explain how they are working with the communities and partners to prevent the spread of COVID-19. IOM estimates that there are around 2.6 million of Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) in Somalia living in over 2,000 different IDP sites across the country. COVID-19 can have devastating consequences for these communities. Lack of information, weak health services and the overcrowding in IDP sites could mean more severe transmission of the virus.
